For Spouses/Partners

As the spouse/partner of a Citi employee, you have the opportunity to evaluate your current coverage and help select Citi Benefits for the 2020 plan year. This year’s Annual Enrollment period is October 7 - 25, 2019.

Note to Citi Employees:

The information in this section is intended for your spouse/partner. Please ask your spouse/partner to review this material, so you can both evaluate which coverage — Citi coverage or other employer-sponsored coverage — provides the most value to you and your family.

Compare Your Options

If you have access to another employer plan other than Citi, consider which plan provides the most value. Compare Citi health plans to your employer’s offerings, as well as the cost of enrolling separately in “employee only” coverage through your employer’s plan with the cost of spouse/ family coverage through Citi. Also, find out what you need to know about Citi’s benefits for 2020.

If your employer’s enrollment period occurs after October 25, 2019, use the information available to you to make the best decision for your family’s needs. When you become eligible to enroll in benefits with your employer, you can compare your options and change your Citi coverage at that time. Since this is a qualified change in status under Citi’s plans, you, as a Citi spouse/partner, will have 31 days from your enrollment period under your employer’s plan to change your Citi Benefits. If you make such changes to your Citi benefits, contact the Citi Benefits Center via ConnectOne at 1 (800) 881-3938, (8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) within the 31 days after enrolling in your employer plans for the requested changes to take effect. If you have children, compare your options to determine the best way to cover them, whether through Citi Benefits or your employer.

Quit Tobacco and Earn Live Well Rewards

Also, don’t forget about your opportunities to earn Live Well Rewards:

  • If you, as a Citi spouse/partner, enroll in a Citi medical plan, the employee will pay a $600 tobacco penalty if either of you use tobacco products ($1,200 total if you both use tobacco products), or if you are tobacco free and the employee doesn’t attest to that status on behalf of both of you before the end of the enrollment period.
  • Spouses/partners can earn $150 in Live Well Rewards by visiting the RedBrick Portal to take the Health Assessment from October 1 - November 1, 2019. (Newly enrolled spouses/partners can complete the Health Assessment between November 4 – November 16, to earn the Reward.)
  • Find out about all the other ways you can earn Live Well Rewards throughout the 2020 plan year.
